Berkshire County Statistics

 

Compiled by Josh Ibanez, an intern at AIER (American Institute of Economic Research), this Berkshire County Factsheet is a large, tabbed spreadsheet featuring statistics for all 32 Berkshire towns across 9 categories including: Age and Sex, Race, Disability, Economic Status, Educational Attainment, School Enrollment, Veteran Status, Limited English, and Homeless Populations.

 

Joshua Ibanez is a Finance and Economics major who graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2017.

 

The American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) is a private, not-for-profit think-tank. Its mission is to provide independent, research-based economic analysis and insights to the public. AIER’s extensive education programming includes its national Teach-the-Teacher Initiative, the Summer Fellowship practicum, and the C. Lowell Harriss Fund, which annually awards Entrepreneurship scholarships to Community College students. In addition, AIER offers internship opportunities to local high school and college students; presents its free Summer and Distinguished Speaker Series on contemporary economic issues; and partners with locals organizations on events and as a host site.
